Masoor

Ingredients

Red lentils(masoor dal) – 1 cup
·
Onion – 2 medium size
·
Curry leaves – 7 to 8
·
Coriander leaves – 2 table spoon
·
Turmeric powder – ½ tea spoon
·
Chili powder – 2 table spoon
·
Salt as per taste
·
Oil – 2 table spoon
Let us see how to
make red masoor dal recipe or masoor dal bhaji with step by step method.
1) Wash the masoor dal. Heat oil in heavey bottom
pan or kadai. Add chopped onion, curry leaves and saute for some time.
2) Then
add washed masoor dal, chili powder, turmeric powder, salt and mix well on low
flame.
3) Then
add 1 ½ cup of water and cook till all
water reduces by cooking on medium to low flame.
4) Do
not cover the pan with lid during cooking the sabzi.
5) When
water reduces and dal cooks then add chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
Our masoor dal recipe is ready to serve.
Serve masoor dal sabzi भाजी with bhakari/roti.
