This gavar bhaji recipe is made from cluster
beans. Gavar ki sabzi is serve with chapatis
or bhakri. Before starting this recipe, take each bean and discard the top and
bottom ends. Wash and then chopp the beans.

Ingredients
·
Gavar (cluster beans) – 250 gm
·
Cumin seeds (jeera) – ½ tea spoon
·
Onion, chopped – 1 big
·
Ginger garlic paste (adarat lahsun paste) – ½
table spoon
·
Milk – 2 table spoon
·
Chili powder (lal mirch powder) – 2 table spoon
·
Salt as per taste (about 1 table spoon)
·
Turmeric powder – ½ tea spoon
·
Oil 3 table spoon
Method of making Gavar
bhaji recipe is as fallows,
1)
Firstly take each bean and discard the top and
bottom ends.
2)
Wash the beans and allow to drain the water.
3)
Take beans in bunch and chop them. Chop all the
beans and keep aside.
4)
Heat tawa or heavy bottom kadai and roast the
chopped beans adding 1 table spoon oil. Roast the beans on medium to high
flame.
5)
Roast till some brown spots appear on the beans.
Take out roasted beans in plate.
6)
Heat oil in heavy bottom pan or kadai. Add cumin
seeds, chopped onion and saute till onion becomes translucent. Add ginger
garlic paste.
7)
Add chili powder, turmeric powder, salt and mix
well.
8)
Then add 2 table spoon milk and cook for some
time on low flame.
9)
Then add some water and cook the beans till it
becomes soft on low flame.
Our Gavar bhaji is ready to serve.
Serve gavar ki sabzi with chapati / bhakri.
