The ingredients for this recipe are as fallows.
·         Potato – 3 medium size
·         Onion – 1 (chopped)
·         Tomato – 1 (chopped)
·         Cumin seeds (jeera) – ½ tea spoon
·         Chili powder – 2 ½ table spoon
·         Salt as per taste – 1 table spoon, I used
·         Turmeric powder – ½ tea spoon
·         Oil – 3 table spoon
How to make Batatyachi Amti or Potato curry
Method
1)      Wash the potatoes well.
2)      Cut the potatoes and keep them in water to retain its colour.


3)      Cut the onion and tomato as per your choice.
4)      Heat the oil in pan. Add cumin seeds (jeera), then onion and saute it till onion becomes translucent.
5)      Then add chopped tomato and saute till tomato becomes soft.


6)      Then add potatoes, chili powder, salt, turmeric powder and mix well.


7)      Place the lid and cook for 2 minutes. After 2 minutes add 1 cup water and cook the potatoes on medium to low flame.
8)      When potatoes are cooked then add water of about 2 to 3 cups or according to your consistency of curry. If you want thick consistency then add low water.
9)      Allow to boil the curry and add coriander leaves


                         Our  Batatyachi Amti is ready to serve.

Serve Batatyachi Amti / Potato curry with rice or chapatti, roti.
