Ingredients
·
Ladies
finger (bhindi) – ½ kg
·
Onion,
chopped – 1 big
·
Tomato,
chopped – 1 big
·
Cumin
seeds (jeera) – ½ tea spoon
·
Chili
powder – 2 table spoon
·
Salt
as per taste (here used 1 table spoon)
·
Coriander
leaves – 2 table spoon
·
Turmeric
powder – ½ tea spoon
·
Oil
– 3 table spoon

1)
Wash
the bhindi and allow to drain all water from it.
2)
Cut
the both ends of each bhindi. Discard it.
3)
Cut
the bhindies into thin pieces.
4)
Heat
tawa or kadai, put chopped bhindi in it. Roast the bhindi on high flame adding
1 table spoon oil.
5)
Roast
bhindi till it lost its stickiness.
6)
Remove
roasted bhindi in plate.
7)
Heat
oil in heavy bottom pan or kadai and add cumin seeds, chopped onion and saute
till onion becomes translucent. Then add chopped tomato and saute again.
8)
Then
add roasted bhindi, chili powder, turmeric powder and salt as per taste. Mix
well and allow to cook bhindi on low flame.
9)
When
bhindi cooks, add chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
Our bhindi bhaji recipe is ready to serve.
Serve bhindi ki sabzi along with Chapati / Roti.
