Ingredients

Poha / flaterned rice -250 gms (about 2 cups)
·
Mustard seeds (sarso) – 1 tea spoon
·
Jeera -1/2 tea spoon
·
Green peas
·
Onions – 2
·
Green chilli – 4to 5
·
Fresh curry leaves – 8 to 10
·
Turmeric powder -1/2 tea spoon
·
Oil – 5 table spoons
·
Salt to taste
·
Coriander leaves (Dhania)
MAKING OF KANDA POHE
1)
Wash the poha. Remember one thing that poha
shoud be moist but not mashed. Add salt according to your taste and mix lightly
with poha.

Heat oil in kadhai /pan . Firstly add mustard
seeds (sarso) ,then jeera. When mustard seeds are crackled then add curry
leaves, green chillies then onion . soute theme for 2 mints. Then add green
peas and a pinch of salt. Soute the mixture till onion turns pink.
3)
When green peas becomes moist and cooked then
add turmeric powder and stir it.Lastly add poha. Mix and cook till poha is heated.Garnish with coriander leaves and
serve hot with Lemon.
NOTE:
1)
Never wash poha many timesas it turns soggy nd
can’t be eaten.
2)
AfterWashing strain out the water from poha.
3)
Use thick poha to make kanda poha recipe
