SHEPU CHI BHAJI /DILL SABZI /SHEPU SABZI / शेपू भाजी





       Shepuchi bhaji(Dill sabzi) is typical Maharastrian dish. This vegetable contains more nutritional values and it is very healthy. It increases blood in our body. As for vitamins and minerals,dill has a signaficant amount of vitamin A & Vitamin c, as well as trace amounts of folate , iron & Good source of calcium, Manganese and iron & as an antioxident. Serve shepu chi bhaji with Bhakari / Roti .

INGREDIENTS :
·         Shepu bhaji – one bunch(cleaned and chopped)
·         Onion        -    1 big
·         Green chillies – 4 to 5
·         Toor dal  - 2 table spoons
·         Uncooked rice ( chaval) – 2 table spoons
·         Turmuric powder ( Haldi) – ¼  teaspoon
·         Salt to taste
·         Coocking oil – 2 table spoons

MAKING  OF SHEPUCHI BHAJI RECIPE(DILL SABJI)

1)       First clean and then wash the dill leaves.
    


2)         Soak toor dal and uncooked rice(chaval) in bowl for about 10minutes before preparing the sabji.
3)       Chopp the dill leaves (shepu leaves) finelly.Also chopp the onion and green chillies.
       













4)       Place a pot on heat and warm some oil in it.
5)       Add chopped onion and chillies and soute for 2 to 3 mins.


6)         Add chopped dill leaves(shepu ) ,turmeric powder,salt to taste,soaked toor dal and chaval and mix well.
7)       Then cover the pan for 2minutes. After 2mints add some water and cook again until sabji is ready to serve

                      Serve Shepu chi bhaji  along with ROTTI  / BHAKARI / CAPATI
